The mold and the mildew are thought to be of similar terms. But to be more exact on the point it is not the same terms. The mold and mildew are different by a number of reasons. The difference may be based on the appearance of the two organisms. The mold is considered to be a fungus and grows on the moisture surfaces especially on to the food and the plants. Speaking of the mildew this has another set of individuality. The appearance of the mildew is different from that of the mold. The mildew is meant to have look of the powdery substance. The black colored substances found on the surfaces of the bathrooms are to expose the affected areas of the fungi. The fungi are basically a flat type of one and it also affects the papers and any area that is sure to have water content. The difference between the mold and mildew is well studied and so the identification of these substances would be easy. But there are certain procedures to be followed to overcome the attack of the fungi.
The chief note to be taken care of when trying to avoid the fungal effect is to have a clean and dry area. That is because of the factor that the fungi act on the watery substance and reducing water content reduces the fungal effect automatically. So have a dry vacuumed surface and never leave the foods to be contaminated, if done then please avoid those foods.
